Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within sixty days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is sixty days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Ricano GmbH, Auguststraße 1, 53229 Bonn, Germany, info@ricano.de, phone: +49 (0) 228 422 210 7) by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the enclosed model withdrawal form, though this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notice of exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received notice of your withdrawal from this contract. For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged fees for this reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay, and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of the withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen-day period expires. You bear the direct costs of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Special Notes

If you finance this contract with a loan and later withdraw from it, you are also no longer bound by the loan agreement, provided the two contracts form an economic unit. This is presumed to be the case in particular where we are also your lender, or where your lender makes use of our involvement for the purpose of financing. If the loan has already been paid out to us at the time the withdrawal takes effect, your lender assumes our rights and obligations under the financed contract in relation to you regarding the legal consequences of the withdrawal or return. The latter does not apply where the present contract concerns the acquisition of financial instruments (e.g. securities, foreign currency or derivatives).

If you wish to avoid a contractual commitment as far as possible, exercise your right of withdrawal and also withdraw from the loan agreement, provided you are also entitled to a right of withdrawal for that agreement.

We bear the direct costs of returning the goods where the return is made within Germany.
